Erik ten Hag spotted ‘having row’ with another Man Utd star at Newcastle as fans say ‘enough is enough’

Dutchman left frustrated as United struggle to impose themselves at St James' Park

ERIK TEN HAG was spotting rowing with Anthony Martial during Manchester United's 1-0 defeat at Newcastle.

The Frenchman got the nod up top ahead of Rasmus Hojlund for a tough battle at St James' Park.

But he had an ineffective first half as Newcastle battered down the doors at United's end,

And it all got too much for Ten Hag, who was seen berating Martial from the sideline at one stage.

The Frenchman had failed to track Fabian Schar several times, allowing the Newcastle defender to burst forward.

And Ten Hag ended up waving his arms at frustration at Martial.

However, Martial responded in kind as he threw his arms up in defence.

Fans were certainly tired of the pair arguing as United struggled to impose themselves on the field.

Several players have already fallen by the wayside after falling out with Ten Hag, most notably Jadon Sancho.

Raphael Varane is the latest to be frozen out by the Dutchman.

And last season Ten Hag lost his rag with winger Antony, leading to one fan saying "enough is enough."

Another declared: "Ten Hag falling out with another player."

One noted: "No passion or fight from Martial, Rashford and Dalot."

Another boomed: "What is Martial doing on the pitch?"

One yelled: "Both gone at the end of the season."

Another added: "Martial will be knackered after that."

Jermain Jenas slated the spectacle at half time on TNT Sports.

Jenas said: “This seems to be the culture within the team at the minute, a lot of arms raised, a lot of blaming each other and no cohesiveness, they’re not together.

“He (Ten Hag) can feel it, he knows they’re not going to win this game unless they’re not together.”

Martial's game ran out in the 60th minute, just moments after Anthony Gordon fired Newcastle 1-0 up.

He was replaced by Hojlund, who is still without a Premier League goal.

But the £75million Dane was even more anonymous as United failed to find a way back.

And the cheers rang out from home fans at St James' Park as Toon racked up another big league win.
