My dad is legendary manager and I even dated one of his players – now I’m making my own way in another sport

SIRA MARTINEZ is making her own way in the equestrian world despite her dad being a legendary football manager.

The showjumper is the daughter of Paris Saint-Germain boss Luis Enrique.

However, Sira is already an equestrian world champion at youth level and has also played polo.

The 23-year-old has been riding horses since she was a child after becoming mesmerised by the animals.

She explained back in April, though, that her dad can still give her advice despite her starring in a different sport.

"My father gives me the best advice." she told . "He has no idea about horses, but as an athlete and trainer he gives good advice focusing on my figure as an athlete."

Enrique was appointed PSG boss in the summer after managing Spain at the World Cup last year.

He previously won nine trophies in charge of Barcelona, including the Champions League, and also played for the Spanish giants.

Sira even dated one of his Spanish players before they split in May.

Former Manchester City winger Ferran Torres met Sira whilst playing in England and the pair began a long distance relationship before his move to Barcelona in 2022.

The couple stayed together after his return to Spain and were spotted enjoying a date during the World Cup in Qatar.

However, they went their separate ways earlier this year, with Sira reportedly wanting to focus on her sporting career.

Away from showjumping, Sira is also a social media star, with 356,000 followers on Instagram.

Her feed features a blend of snaps from her life and clips from equestrian events around the world.
