Eagle-eyed fans left baffled by bizarre difference to Brennan Johnson’s Tottenham kit during Newcastle clash

FANS have been baffled after spotting that Brennan Johnson's shirt was missing the Tottenham badge.
The Spurs star was spotted by eagle-eyed supporters without the club's historic crest on his jersey in the match against Newcastle.
Johnson, 22, joined Tottenham in the summer in a transfer from boyhood club Nottingham Forest.
In the 4-1 win over the Magpies, his kit appeared to be different from his team-mates.
Johnson's white home shirt was lacking one important feature, the club crest.
Fans were left baffled by the difference as they flocked to social media.

It has been confirmed that the badge, which is thought to have been ironed on instead of sewn on, fell off Johnson's shirt during the match.
Tottenham were still able to do the business on the pitch, even if one shirt was falling apart.
The hosts ran riot against Newcastle as they returned to winning ways with the 4-1 victory.
