FANS were left in disbelief as Brighton star Jack Hinshelwood “used his AirPods” as shin pads against Arsenal.
The midfielder, 18, lined up for the Seagulls in their 2-0 defeat at the Emirates on Sunday.
Goals from Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz secured all three points for the Gunners in a tough clash.
But it was Hinshelwood who was the talk of the town during the game.
At one part of the game, the teen could be seen adjusting his shin pads.
And fans were left stunned when Hinshelwood revealed he was using a guard barely the size of an Apple AirPod case.

But Hinshelwood thankfully didn’t have to rely on them during the game as he avoided being clattered on his leg.
Fans certainly couldn’t believe the youngster was brave enough to go on the pitch with only the tiny shin pads for protection.
One said: “Hinshelwood using his AirPods as shin pads against Arsenal today.”

Hinshelwood made his debut for Brighton last season, with his only appearance coming on the final day against Aston Villa.
He has since clocked up six more games for the Seagulls this term, bagging his first goal earlier this month against Brentford.
