Mary Earps wows in lacy see-through outfit as SPOTY winner steals the show on glam red carpet
MARY EARPS stole the show at the Sports Personality of the Year - before the awards ceremony even began.
The England goalkeeper, 30, arrived at MediaCity in Salford for the annual gong knowing she was the heavy odds-on favourite to scoop the SPOTY trophy.
And she did indeed win the public vote to be crowned the first goalkeeper to collect the award, pipping Stuart Broad and Katarina Johnson-Thompson on the podium.
But before it got underway, she put on a dazzling display with a gorgeous £1,460 dress on the red carpet.
The dress, made by London-based designer David Koma, is said to be a lingerie-inspired ‘revenge’ dress according to .
Earps rocked the black number - which featured a full-length skirt and cut-out upper - as she smiled for the cameras.

The Manchester United stopper enjoyed a superb year in between the sticks.
She led her club side to the Women's FA Cup final before helping the Lionesses finish as runners-up at the Women's World Cup in the summer.
Nottingham-born Earps also collected the Golden Glove at the tournament in Australia and New Zealand for her performances for England.
However, Earps wasn't the only one impressing on the red carpet.
Alex Scott, who was one of the hosts for the evening, left her bra at home as she wore an elegant red gown.
The presenter was joined by girlfriend Jess Glynne in the dressing room and shared a rare social media snap together ahead of the big night.
Earps' fellow nominee Broad wore a dapper suit and was joined by pop star wife Mollie King.
Johnson-Thompson was also up for the main gong and dazzled in a strapless black dress and heels.
Footballers past and present Jill Scott, Leah Williamson and Esme Morgan were on hand to cheer on Earps while Jimmy Anderson and wife Daniella Lloyd no doubt wanted Broad to collect the award.
Tommy Fury, Ellie Simmonds, Rebecca Adlington and Aimee Fuller also impressed on their way into the prestigious event in the sporting calendar.
