Terrified Chelsea fans say ‘don’t you dare’ after learning who Tottenham will offer in swap transfer for Conor Gallagher
CHELSEA fans have been left terrified after learning which Tottenham star has been named in a reported swap transfer deal with Conor Gallagher.
Despite being handed the club captaincy in the absence of the injured Reece James and vice-captain Ben Chilwell, there is a very real threat Gallagher may run down his contract.
The 23-year-old will have 18 months left on his deal when the January transfer window opens.
And have now reported that London rivals Tottenham are interested in the midfielder.
Despite Chelsea's stop-start results to the season so far, Gallagher has impressed for Mauricio Pochettino's side.
The English all-rounder ranks top in a number of metrics within the Blues' squad including assists, chances created, tackles, interceptions, possession won and distance covered.

Indeed, Gallagher has certainly proved himself worthy of the title of the club's best midfielder so far this season, with stats showing he has outperformed £222million duo Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez.
With other reports suggesting a £50m sale for Gallagher could fund a deal for Brentford's Ivan Toney, Chelsea would be left short-handed in midfield should it materialise.
However, Sky's report claims a source close to the matter has suggested midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg could be used as part of a swap deal to bring Gallagher to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Though Chelsea fans have not been left pleased with the link.
