LUIS SUAREZ will be reunited with Lionel Messi after becoming the FOURTH Barcelona legend to join Inter Miami.

Messi has been at Inter Miami since leaving Paris Saint-Germain, where he has already enjoyed cup-winning success.

But after already convincing club chiefs to bring Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba with him to the club, the fourth musketeer has been added with Suarez.

The MLS club announced the deal by posting a picture of four boys in Miami kits with the names of the Barca icons on the back.

And Suarez said: “I’m very happy and excited to take on this new challenge with Inter Miami.

“I can’t wait to get started, and I’m ready to work to make the dream of winning more titles with this great Club a reality.

“I’m optimistic about what we can achieve together with our shared ambition.

“I will give my all to bring joy to these great fans I’ve heard so much about while I wear Inter Miami colour, and look forward to reuniting with great friends and players.

“I’m also eager to meet my new teammates and coaches.”

The contract is a one-year deal but an option for a further year in believed to be included.

Beckham added: “We are delighted to have a player of Luis’ quality and passion for the game join our Club.

“He joins a squad that is inspiring the next generation and we look forward to seeing him take to the field with both former teammates and young players from our Academy.”

Messi and co will not be in action again until the February, when the Major League Soccer season kicks off.

The 38-year-old led the David Beckham-owned outfit to its first-ever trophy with the Leagues Cup, scoring ten goals in seven games.

But having joined only halfway through the regular season, the club failed to make the play-offs.

The addition of a fourth ex-Barcelona player gives hope they will go and qualify for the play-offs.

Former Liverpool ace Suarez left Barcelona in 2020 to join Atletico Madrid, where he proceeded to win La Liga.

He then left Spain in 2022 and headed back to South America, where he joined Nacional and later Gremio.

However, his contract with the club expires on January 1, leaving the 36-year-old free to sign for other clubs.

During their six years together at Barcelona, Suarez and Messi won four La Liga titles, the Champions League and the Club World Cup – which Man City are in the final of later today.

The duo also became great friends off the pitch with their partners also pals.
