LUKE LITTLER appeared to be stung by a wasp during his World Darts Championship quarter-final.
The 16-year-old took on Brendan Dolan for a place in the last four.
Littler seemed to experience discomfort during the match, feeling his elbow.
And some believe he was the latest victim of the infamous Ally Pally wasp.
Despite his soreness, Littler made light work of Dolan, beating him 5-1 to reach the semi-finals.
After his win, he said: "Was I stung by a wasp? I don’t know.
"I saw it flying around. I had to focus and get over the line."
Littler would be the latest in a long line of stars to be bothered by the bug at Ally Pally.
Gary Anderson was stalked by a wasp back in 2018.
While another perched on David Cameron's shoulder during a match last year.

Aside from his potential brush with the Ally Pally wasp, Littler was delighted with his latest day's work.
He said: "Wow. I am in the semi-finals on my debut. I am glad to get here. My performances have been good. It went well up there.
“If I keep it up, I have a good chance of winning. Now I am dreaming, I am only two games away. I am definitely thinking about the title.
“I just wanted to get over the line. I am gutted for Chris Dobey, who lost to Rob Cross.

“I can now wake up at 9am and chill and come back in the evening."
