Klopp reveals win relief
Jurgen Klopp was relieved his side avoided a draw at Arsenal that would have meant a dreaded replay.
"I'm super proud," he told BBC Sport. It's a super difficult draw. Maybe the most difficult we could have got.
"We were really in the game in the second half. We scored the goals and brought the kids on.
We fought for 95 minutes. We desperately wanted to avoid a draw. Now I don't have to make any decisions which is good.
"We have a winter break now."
FA Cup fourth round draw
The fourth round draw will happen on Monday evening at 7:50pm.
It will happen live on ITV1, before Man Utd's tie against Wigan.
You can also listen to live coverage of the draw on talkSPORT from 7:50pm.
Lineker calls for TAA to play in midfield
Trent Alexander-Arnold put on another stellar display for Liverpool.
But Gary Lineker believes he should play in midfield.
"I have said forever that he is a midfield player," Lineker said on the BBC.
"There are times where he can be exposed at right back. He is not going to be exposed defensively in midfield. There is no better passer of the football in the English game."
Importance of the FA Cup
Man Utd entertain Wigan on Monday night, with Erik ten Hag waxing lyrical about the importance of the FA Cup.
He told Man Utd's official website: "So in the cup it is always about do or die and you have to be ready. An opponent will be always 100 per cent when they play against Manchester United, but especially when they play in the FA Cup against Manchester United.
"So we have to be ready to face them, be well prepared. So we have the expectations that every game we have to win."
Guardiola on De Bruyne's epic return
Pep Guardiola has spoken about Kevin De Bruyne's return.
'It was really, really good. Now, as I said at the press conference, he needs to accumulate training sessions, training sessions, training sessions. Even more so than games. I still don't think he is ready for 90 minutes.
Arsenal ball mystery
Baffled football fans are convinced cheeky Arsenal STOLE an FA Cup football from Leicester City.
And one disgruntled Foxes supporter jokingly pleaded with the Gunners to return their property.
The Gunners lost 2-0 to Liverpool at the Emirates in the third round of the famous competition.
But during the tie in North London, some eagle-eyed viewers were left utterly bamboozled when Arsenal right-back Ben White took a throw-in.
The cameras zoomed in on the £50million ex-Brighton defender holding the yellow FA Cup Mitre ball above his head.
That is because the ball appears to have the initials "LCFC" written on it twice in black ink.
That prompted the Leicester supporter to write: "Can we have our ball back please @arsenal?"
De Bruyne's back
Kevin De Bruyne took just 17 minutes to beat Antony's assist record for the season.
The Manchester United flop has struggled in the final third this campaign with zero goals and assists in 21 games.
De Bruyne, 23, who had not played since the first day of the season due to injury, returned to action in the FA Cup third round against Huddersfield.
He came off the bench in the 57th minute and it took him just 17 minutes to show what City have missed.
The Belgian played a one-two with Oscar Bobb before chipping the ball to the back post for Jeremy Doku to fire home.
De Bruyne now has two assists for the season in just 82 minutes of football.
Liverpool celebrations
Two Liverpool players hilariously slapped a pitch invader on the head during their goal celebrations at Arsenal.
And then one of them threw his hat into the crowd in brilliant scenes.
Liverpool stars went crazy when Jakub Kiwior headed Trent Alexander-Arnold's wicked free-kick delivery into his own net to break the deadlock in their FA Cup third-round clash.
And as the men in purple congregated together to celebrate the goal in front of the travelling away fans, one member of the public jumped the advertising hoardings to join in.
But it came at a cost for the unidentified supporter who may regret their actions.
That is because Ibrahima Konate and striker Darwin Nunez both whacked the unknown fan on the head as emotions spilt over.
Bamford's strike discussed
Daniel Farke's has waxed lyrical about Patrick Bamford's wonder strike against Peterborough.
The whole world after this goal will praise him (Bamford). It's a world class goal. I have no other words for it.
"I'm happy and delighted for him because he deserves it. And it's important that he's back to his fitness level. It's important for him to be in a good rhythm and to find his confidence.
"It's also important that he works for the team, is good with the pressing and that he holds the ball and links play well.
"I would have taken a rebound from two yards because goals are always priceless for the confidence of the striker, but yes of course if he scores in such a manner - in such a world-class way - that's even better."
Arsenal's cup woes
Since winning the FA Cupin 2019/20, Arsenal have failed to make it past the fourth round of the FA Cup in the last four seasons:
2020/21: Fourth round
2021/22: Third round
2022/23: Fourth round
2023/24: Third round
Arteta’s rip
Arsenal fans found something to distract them from FA Cup woe against Liverpool – Mikel Arteta’s trousers.
Viewers wondered if the Gunners’ boss “had “ripped” his slacks where he would least want to as he sat in the dugout during Sunday’s 2-0 home defeat against Liverpool.
But it was split decision over what could have caused the grey patch on the crotch area of the Spaniard’s clothing.
One viewer summed up the mystery: “What’s going on with Arteta’s trousers?
And unfortunately many of the responses were no less certain.
“Has Arteta got a split in his trousers,” asked one.

Konate's reaction
Liverpool's Ibrahima Konate put in a man of the match display.
After the game, he shared his analysis.
"Yes, I am really happy but I think the man of the match was all of the team. I am very happy. We go through to the next round.
"Yes, of course [I'm happy with the way the season is going]. It's hard to play a lot of games but we love it. We did it two years ago, we won two cups. I hope this season is different [win more]. Fingers crossed."

Alexander-Arnold reaction
Trent Alexander-Arnold on 2-0 win at Arsenal.
It's huge. We've got a lot of players missing today with the lads on internationals and Virg not in the squad. We dug deep with two late goals. We changed things around at half-time and we came out and played football, created our chances. The change of system made an impact for us."

Bamford's wonder strike
Fans have speculated that Patrick Bamford may be awarded with the Puskas award following his wonder strike.
The striker has been out of form this season but proved class is permanent with perhaps the best goal of the round in the FA Cup.
Leeds visited League One high-flyers Peterborough and brushed them aside easily, winning 3-0.
