World Darts Championship star spotted playing for local football team just six days after beating Michael van Gerwen
DARTS cult hero Scott Williams helped his local football team get to a cup final - days after featuring in the World Darts Championship semi-final.
The world number 30 pulled off one of the shocks of the tournament by beating one of the favourites Michael van Gerwen in the quarter-final.
He was thrashed 6-0 in the next round by eventual winner Luke Humphries, who beat Luke Littler in the final.
Just days later he swapped the oche for the grass in his second semi-final of the week.
Williams, 33, donned the gloves as he featured in goal for Boston-based Swinhead Institute Reserves, who beat Park United Reserves 4-1 in the Main Ridge Takeaway Reserve Cup.
They are now in the final and Shaggy was spotted celebrating in the changing rooms alongside his team-mates.
