Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool
21. Better from Liverpool as Nunez turns provider by running to the byline.
His cross into the middle is decent enough too, but nobody - notably Gakpo - took a gamble on the darting into the danger area.
Instead it's up to White to mop up at the back post and put it behind for a corner.
Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool
19. There's still some real hesitancy in the visitors' defence, epitmosed this time by Gomez and Quansah attempting to tackle each other.
Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool
17. Liverpool take the time to slow game down with a spell of possession around their midfield and defence.
Klopp's team are playing an unusually patient game, waiting for an opportunity to present itself, but Arsenal are so far looking as good out of possession as they are in it.
Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool
15. "Arsenal should have had four already," declares Alan Shearer, counting out the chances on his fingers.
It may be an exaggeration, but only a slight one.
Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool
13. A brilliant challenge from White leaves Diaz flat out on the turf under the nose of Jurgen Klopp, and draws a rapturous response from the Emirates crowd.
The Liverpool boss doesn't even take issue with the tackle, meaning it must have been good.
Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool
11. Arsenal still haven't scored but how that's the case, nobody knows.
Gomez is caught in possession at the back, leaving Havertz the simple task of feeding Nelson.
However, an excellent recovery delays what seems the inevitable, only for Odegaard to thump the bar with his shot, and Nelson to be forced wide.
Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool
10. Arsenal really need to take advantage of this blistering beginning.
Where was this display against Fulham and West Ham?
Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool
8. Arsenal have started in electric fashion.
Another opportunity for Nelson is deflected wide, and from the subsequent corner, Gabriel comes close to forcing the ball over the line.
Still, Liverpool can't fully clear their lines, and seconds later, Havertz forces Allison into a diving push away with a 20-yard curler.
Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool
6. The thing with Arsenal is they always trying to walk the ball in...
That certainly rings true here as space opens up for Odegaard to strike with his left foot from the edge of the area, only for the captain to opt against a clear sight of goal by passing to the awkwardly-placed Nelson.
Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool
4. Undeterred, Liverpool launch a blistering attack of their own.
Elliott finds room on the right, and looks for Nunez in the middle with an early cross.
Reading the delivery, Gabriel moves quickly to cut out and clear.
Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool
3. A great opportunity for Reiss Nelson with barely 120 seconds on the clock!
Aaron Ramsdale sends his teammate through on goal with a perfect punt forward, and the forward accelerates away from Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ibrahima Konate.
Faced with only Alisson to beat, Nelson takes a heavy touch to skip around the goalkeeper and then can only find the side netting with his finish.
Kick-off - Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool
1. It's Harvey Elliott, wearing the purple of Liverpool's third kit that gets the pick of the FA Cup third round ties underway.
John Brooks is the man in charge, and he may well have to keep his wits about him if these sides play with the intensity and competitiveness that we know they can.
Here come the two teams!
It's a cocktail of noise at the Emirates Stadium, according to both Martin Keown and commentator Guy Mowbray, whatever that means.
Still, there is certainly excitement in the air as both Martin Odegaard and Trent Alexander-Arnold lead their teams out for this eagerly-awaited third round tie.
Both clubs are going for it in the Premier League, but can they add cup that they have lited on so many previous occasions?
Kick-off comes next.
Ramsdale set for hero's welcome
Former Arsenal ace Martin Keown is sure that Aaron Ramsdale will get a terrific reaction from the Emirates crowd this afternoon.
The goalkeeper will make his first home appearance since losing his number one spot to David Raya earlier this season.
And although the Englishman has looked shaky in the away games when he has filled in, Keown is sure the goalkeeper can recapture his old form with the backing of the home support.
I'm confident [Aaron Ramsdale] has what it takes. He has to be right mentally as he seems to have been affected by the change.
Martin KeownCountdown to kick-off
The players have just completed their warm-ups out on the Emirates pitch and have returned to the dressing room for some final words of...
...encouragement? Sure.
...inspiration? Maybe.
...tactical expertise? Undoubtedly.
...reiteration not to get injured or draw the match? Yeah, that will be it.
Klopp glad to see back of Christmas
Like the grumpiest of grumpy dads, Jurgen Klopp has admitted that he is delighted to see the festive period come to an end - and that busy football schedule that comes with it.
The Liverpool boss insists that the six days rest his players have had for this contest is enough for them to fully prepare.
That period with five games in 13 days, I'm really happy it's over. I can't really remember it, you'd wake up in the morning and not know who you were playing. It's tough but we got through it and we're here. It's the first game in the FA Cup, and we can mix it up. We'll give it a go.
Jurgen KloppLiverpool match up to Arsenal's 4-3-3
Alexis Mac Allister returns to Liverpool, and slots straight into the heart of Jurgen Klopp's midfield, where the Argentine will be flanked by youngsters Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott.
Meanwhile, Joe Gomez continues to fill in at left-back with Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas injured while 20-year-old Jarrell Quansah makes his first ever appearance in the FA Cup.
Havertz up top of hosts
Jorginho's inclusion in the Arsenal midfield this afternoon means that Kai Havertz will move into a more advanced role, joining Bukayo Saka and Reiss Nelson in the front three.
Meanwhile, it is expected that Declan Rice plays on the right of midfield with captain Martin Odegaard on the left.
Oleksandr Zinchenko has still not shaken off his injury so Jakub Kiwior continues at left-back.
Klopp selects strong Liverpool line-up
Jurgen Klopp makes four changes for today's cup tie at Arsenal, all of which are enforced.
Mo Salah and Wataru Endo are away with their countries at their respective international tournaments while Virgil van Dijk is ill and Dominik Szoboszlai is injured.
As a result, in come Jarell Quansah, Alexis Mac Allister, Harvey Elliott and Cody Gakpo.
Liverpool (4-3-3): 1 Alisson; 66 Alexander-Arnold. 78 Quansah, 5 Konate, 2 Gomez; 19 Elliott, 10 Mac Allister, 17 Jones; 18 Gakpo, 9 Nunez, 7 Diaz
Subs: 62 Kelleher, 20 Jota, 38 Gravenberch, 42 Clark, 44 Chambers, 49 Gordon, 53 McConnell, 84 Bradley, 98 Nyoni
Ramsdale returns for Arteta's Arsenal
Mikel Arteta makes three changes to the Arsenal side beaten by Fulham on New Year's Eve.
Aaron Ramsdale, as the Gunners' designated domestic cup goalkeeper, comes back into the side in place of David Raya.
There are also starting berths for Jorginho and Reiss Nelson, who replace Gabriel Martinelli and Eddie Nketiah.
Arsenal (4-3-3): 1 Ramsdale; 4 White, 2 Saliba, 6 Gabriel, 15 Kiwior; 41 Rice, 20 Jorginho, 8 Odegaard; 7 Saka, 29 Havertz, 24 Nelson
Subs: 22 Raya, 10 Smith Rowe, 11 Martinelli, 14 Nketiah, 17 Cedric, 19 Trossard, 63 Nwaneri, 76 Walters, Sousa
Arsenal relaunch No More Red campaign
Arsenal will wear an all-white home kit this afternoon for the first time in their history to raise awareness of the club's campaign against knife crime and youth violence.
In association with Adidas, the Gunners' No More Red initiative continues after its initial launch in January 2022.
It has previously seen Arsenal wear white in away games such as the FA Cup third round tie at Oxford this time last year, but doing so at the Emirates breaks new ground.
Today's opponents Liverpool will support Arsenal's campaign by wearing their changed strip of purple.
Gunners evens to prevail
It's just 15 days since nothing could separate these sides at Anfield, but the bookmakers believe that home advantage is enough to give Arsenal the edge this afternoon.
The Gunners are priced at evens to get the better of the team currently top of the Premier League with the draw that neither club wants chalked up at 13/5; Liverpool are a 12/5 shot.
- Arsenal win Evs
- Draw 13/5
- Liverpool win 12/5
Mind you, if you do believe that the draw could be a factor, and it may take a replay for one of these giants to progress then maybe the tie's outright betting is the way to go.
- Arsenal to qualify 8/11
- Liverpool to qualify 11/10

Hello and welcome to Arsenal vs Liverpool
Arsenal are facing Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium today in a massive FA Cup third-round clash!
The Gunners have completely capitulated from when they were top of the tree at Christmas with just one win in their last six games.
Mikel Arteta's men suffered two consecutive London derby defeats to West Ham and Fulham which has now seen them plummet down to fourth in the Premier League table.
While their opponents Liverpool capitalised by beating Newcastle and replacing Arsenal at the summit.
But this weekend's match is all about the FA Cup - a competition that no other side has lifted more than the Gunners.
Liverpool are a team in form who will be heading into the fixture full of confidence and present Arteta's men with a tough challenge.
The two sides put on a show when they met in the league last month and played out a high quality 1-1 draw at Anfield.
