Daniels was in acres of space on the right wing, and was allowed to receive a cross-field pass before cutting inside a weak Bellerin challenge and slotting past Petr Cech.

Speaking as a pundit on Sky Sports, Henry said Ramsey should have done more to spot the danger and help his full-back out.

But the Gunners legend also admitted Bellerin’s tackle was ‘not good enough.’

He said: “Bellerin has to help his centre back because a Bournemouth player is making a run behind him.

“Ramsey has a look and sees and knows Daniels is there and has to make an effort to help the right back, but Hector Bellerin has to do way better to this. The way he defended was not good enough.

Henry added: “They played two days ago but it’s not an excuse – they’re not at it. I’ve been there, playing two games in two days. But big teams find a way to win.”

Henry also questioned Granit Xhaka for conceding a penalty after his rash challenge on Ryan Fraser.

“I don’t know what Xhaka is doing,” Henry said. It was a great effort to get back, but then he had to slow down and control the situation. Instead he ran straight into him.”

Should the Gunners lose tonight, and Chelsea beat Tottenham tomorrow night, Arsene Wenger’s side will be a massive 12 points below the league leaders.
