Gary Neville blasted by ex Valencia chief Paco Roig saying the Manchester United legend ‘was the the worst coach I’ve ever seen’
Nightmare spell - just short of four months - is the worst of any manager at the Mestalla in the former owner's eyes
GARY NEVILLE'S spell in charge of Valencia has been branded the worst ever at the Mestalla.
The Manchester United legend lasted just short of four months at the helm of the La Liga side and their former owner Paco Roig has piled the blame on the Mancunian.
Peter Lim - who hired Neville - has also come under fire from the former boss as he points the finger at the pair as to why Valencia has slumped in recent years.

During Neville's tenure in Spain he lost 11 of his 28 matches and his time in charge has seen him labelled as one of the worst coaches in Valencia's history.
Roig said: "What does the owner [Lim] know about football?
"The pundit who came [Neville], the Englishman, was the worst coach I have ever seen."
Valencia who competed in the Champions League last season are currently 17th in La Liga and are only out of the relegation zone on goal difference.

He then slammed Lim's decision to sign Rodrigo for £25.7million - who has netted just six times in 38 matches for Valenica.
Roig said: "Why is player registered for 30 million [euro] if he is s***?
'Rodrigo is not worth 30 million. Valencia is f***ing up and bad, it's a disaster."
Whilst Neville was in charge Valencia suffered a nine-game winless streak and four of their five draws during this poor run came from late equalisers.
The Sky Sports TV pundit has since said he may never coach again - whilst also coming under fire from Liverpool keeper Loris Karius.
