Pep Guardiola’s City made history when they scooped their first-ever European title last season.

It was the final trophy needed to complete the Treble.

And a supercomputer from Opta reckons City could become the second team in the last three decades to successfully defend the Champions League.

Erling Haaland and Co have been given a meaty 31.2 per cent chance of winning the competition this year.

That’s double the number of second-favourites Real Madrid, who have 15.7 per cent and are the only team to have won successive European Cups since AC Milan in 1990.

Serie A leaders Inter Milan are third in the table with a 12.1 per cent chance.

While Harry Kane’s Bayern Munich are fourth with 11.4 per cent.

And the top five is completed by Arsenal, who have been given a 6.8 per cent chance of winning their first-ever Champions League.

But Copenhagen have been written off without kicking a ball in their last-16 tie against Man City.

The Danish minnows picked up points against Man United and Bayern in the group stage.
