Haaland, 23, didn't get on the scoresheet as his side ran out 3-1 winners.

But he still managed to take fans' breath away.

Rising to try and meet a cross, Haaland jumped an astonishing 7ft 6in into the air.

He connected with the ball, but wasn't quite able to convert the shot.

Haaland's effort was likened to Cristiano Ronaldo's astonishing goal for Real Madrid against Juventus in 2018.

On that occasion, the Portuguese superstar rose 7ft 8in to convert a remarkable overhead kick from Dani Carvajal's cross.

Ronaldo received acclaim from fans of Juventus, who he would go on to join later that year.

Foreshadowing his move, he said at the time: "It was an unbelievable moment. I have to say thank you a lot - grazie - to all supporters of Juventus.
