MANCHESTER UNITED has the most expensive squad ever assembled, according to Uefa findings.
The report has examined figures from top league clubs from Europe and has discovered the Red Devils' team cost an astonishing £1.21bn.
The calculation includes massive fees such as the £85.5million for Antony, the £80m splash on Harry Maguire in 2019, and the £73m spent on Jadon Sancho in 2021.
The figures also include the £60m spent on Real Madrid's Casemiro in 2022.
However, the total amount is only calculated on deals up until the end of the financial year in 2023.
This means last summer's arrivals of a £47m Andre Onana, a £60m Mason Mount, and a £72m Rasmus Hojlund are not included.
