PORTO'S stadium announcer produced an embarrassing blunder after the hosts' horror miss in their 1-0 win over Arsenal.
Winger Galeno, 26, was gifted a golden opportunity to give the Portuguese giants a first-half lead in their Champions League last-16 tie against Mikel Arteta's men.
The forward reacted quicker than William Saliba when the ball looped up inside the six-yard box as he got in front of the Arsenal man to fire a shot goalward.
But incredibly it crashed off the far post, before it came straight back to Galeno who fired the rebound wide.
Many of the home fans thought he had scored as the ball made the net ripple behind the goal after the second miss.
And the announcer in charge of the goal music was another bamboozled by the optical illusion of sorts.

Reacting to the baffling piece of play, one fan said: "One of the weirdest little passages of play I’ve ever seen."
While another added: "How is that even possible? 😭😭"
A third replied: "Thought goal but wow."
