ARSENAL put Newcastle to the sword in some style to keep firmly in the hunt for the Premier League title.

Mikel Arteta's side walked all over Eddie Howe's men in an impressive 4-1 win.

Arsenal did not look at all like the side that Porto beat earlier in the week.

After a 1-0 defeat in Portugal, the Gunners made sure fans could leave that in the past as they went straight back to it with a thumping victory.

And there were signs that summer-signing Kai Havertz is slowly getting back to his best after a tough start in London.

Starboy Saka also scored and particular mention should go to Jorginho who was at the centre of it all.

Arteta's squad have scored now 25 goals since the new year and it does not look like they will be stopping anytime soon.

Here's how SunSport's Ellie Grant rates the Arsenal team...

David Raya - 6

An easy one for Raya - one goal may have slipped in but he did not have very much work to do as the Magpies could not break down Arsenal's backline.
