Caroline Wozniacki blasts back at Rory McIlroy and begs him to move on with his love life
Four-time Major winner said he prefers relationship with fiancee Erica Stoll because there is no 'bulls***'
CAROLINE WOZNIACKI has begged Rory McIlroy to shut up and move on with his life.
The Ryder Cup superstar went public this week on how he is better off without his ex-fiancee’s “bulls***, acting and show”.
And he said his life is easier with new love Erica Stoll because “she doesn’t judge me”.
But ahead of tomorrow’s showdown with Britain’s Jo Konta, Wozniacki, 26, said: “I don’t understand why he keeps bringing it up.
“Was I surprised? Yes, it’s a little dead by now. It’s three years ago.
“He looks like he’s doing well. And if he’s doing well, he must surely then look to move on.”
Konta saw off Japanese superkid Naomi Osaka 6-4 6-2 to set up the clash with Wozniacki.
And having followed the latest chapter in her next opponent’s very public life, it reminded her why she is happy to stay in the shadows.
The girl with 37,000 Twitter followers to Wozniacki’s 1.5 MILLION said: “Do I think of myself as a famous person? No, no, no, no!
“I’d like to be recognised for what I contribute to the sport, for my abilities and achievements within it.
“I’m just not very good at social media. Some people have too much time on their hands.”
