ARDA GULER has drawn comparisons with Mesut Ozil after scoring his first goal for Real Madrid.
Guler, 19, played with the ex-Arsenal star at Fenerbahce last season.
The teenager's promising form in Turkey earned him a £17million summer move to Ozil's former club Real Madrid.
Following his switch to the Spanish capital, the Turkish starlet suffered a knee injury which ruled him out of the start of the season.
Having returned to fitness, the attacking midfielder has finally started making first team cameos under Carlo Ancelotti.
Last night he scored his first goal for Los Blancos, completing a 4-0 win over Celta Vigo by rounding the goalkeeper to tap in with his right foot.

The strike reminded fans of a goal from Ozil's first season at Real Madrid.
In February 2011, the Germany international rounded Sevilla keeper Javi Varas before similarly tapping home with his right foot during the Copa del Rey semi-finals.
Fans noticed the similarities, with one writing: "Greatness reborn."
A second gushed: "We have the Ozil regen."

And a third joked: "Arda read the script and said “well lets get it started”."
While a fourth boldly predicted: "Guler will become better than him."
Another added: "He’s reading the Ozil script, we’ll be there."
Ozil went on to score 27 goals while assisting a further 81 in 159 appearances for Real Madrid before joining Arsenal in 2013.
In this stint he won the LaLiga title and a Copa del Rey.
The playmaker retired from football aged 34 last March.
Ozil played with Guler at Fenerbahce during the 2021-22 season before finishing his career with Basaksehir.
He made a bold prediction last year, claiming: "Is there a number 10 better than me?
"I can think of a name, I have a brother that I believe in, may God protect him: his name is Arda Guler."
