MANCHESTER UNITED fans are eagerly anticipating Kai Rooney's rise through the academy after his heroics for the club's Under-14 team.
Kai, 14, is the son of Red Devils legend and all-time record goalscorer Wayne Rooney.
Earlier this week Kai posted a picture to his Instagram story detailing how he had performed in a match against Everton.
His story said the Red Devils had won 6-4 against the Toffees.
He then revealed he scored a hat-trick and also added two assists.
Another display in January saw in a 6-0 thrashing against Leeds.

He initially joined the club's youth academy in 2016, but switched to Manchester City after two months.
In 2018, he headed to America following his father's move to DC United to join Bethesda Soccer Club in Maryland.
However, when Rooney returned to England in 2020 he rejoined Man Utd, where he has remained ever since.
Kai, a forward like his old man, started off well by breaking Man Utd's record for goals scored in a single season for the Under-12s with 56.
