Boxer Tyson Fury, who was at the game, would have been ecstatic with the result.

But another famous sports star who could not hide his glee was the darts sensation.

He took to X to share a sly dig at the departing German manager.

Liverpool, who won the Carabao Cup earlier this season and are challenging for the Premier League title, were in line for a domestic treble.

However, that dream went up in smoke with defeat at the Theatre of Dreams.

That prompted Littler to share a tweet of a gag that's doing the rounds on social media.

An image of Littler and Klopp side by side clapping is captioned with a hilarious joke.

It asks: "What is the difference between Luke Littler & Jurgen Klopp?"
