WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio left two major legends out of his professional wrestling Mount Rushmore, although he admitted that he "loves" them.

Mysterio, 49, is one of the best wrestlers of all time who changed the game as he locked horns with some of the sport's greatest giants despite his 5ft 6in, 175lbs frame.

The famous luchadore is still active despite his advanced age and recently held the US Championship, which he later lost to Logan Paul at Crown Jewel.

But despite his immense success, which led to three world championships, the high-flier refused to add himself to his Mount Rushmore.

However, the American grappler also had to omit other fellow greats such as Stone Cold Steve Austin and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

The ex-WWE Champion has immense respect for both Austin and The Rock, who named him as one of the wrestlers he always wanted to face back in 2008.

The Texas Rattlesnake and Johnson changed the world of professional wrestling by leading the famous Attitude Era during the early 2000s.

But Mysterio has instead picked other wrestlers that influenced his own career.

And the former World Heavyweight Champion's top pick is Eddie Guerrero as he was arguably the main reason behind Mexican Lucha Libre becoming famous around the world.

The Master of the 619 also went with Olympic hero Kurt Angle with whom he had some incredible matches on SmackDown in the past.

And the LWO member would complete the set with Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair whom he watched perform growing up.

Mysterio told : "I have to throw Eddie in there because without Eddie, this whole growth of Lucha Libre would probably be different.

Dwayne Johnson 'breaks WWE protocol' on live TV after The Rock involved in bloody bust-up with Cody Rhodes

"You know, even when Mil Mascaras was part of WWE, it was big, but it didn’t expand and I wish it would have. So Eddie kind of just opened the doors for all of us.

"So I said Hogan, Flair, Eddie, and if I personally have to throw another one, I love the Rock and I love Stone Cold, but I would throw Kurt Angle in there too.”
