He signed a new five-year deal worth £365,000-a-week last year but Perez wants to flog his star player to make back some money.

Reports suggest he could sell Ronaldo in the summer of 2018 to a Chinese club - and that he has wanted to get rid of the Euro 2016 winner for two years.

Ronaldo has a big influence on the Madrid dressing room and angered Perez when he sided with Iker Casillas and Sergio Ramos during a row.

Don Balon also claim Perez thinks Ronaldo has seen his best years and the time has come for the attacker to be sold.

Chinese clubs would be more than willing to splash out on the MVP winner as they continue to spend big to bring the best players to their league.

Ronaldo has 18 goals in 22 games for Real this season and is the club's all-time leading goalscorer with 382 in 370 games.

Carlos Tevez was recently made the highest-paid player in world football after agreeing a move to Shanhai Shenua – but if Ronaldo’s move materialises he would double his income.

Not only would Ronaldo shatter Tevez’s leading income for a footballer, but he would almost triple Paul Pogba’s world record £89million move to Manchester United in the summer.

Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, squashed the rumours within an instant by saying the Portugal captain is dedicated to Los Blancos.

Mendes told “From China they’ve offered €300million to Real Madrid and more than €100m per year to the player."
