Antony was given a chance to impress but he did the exact opposite less than 20 minutes into the game.

With Chelsea already leading thanks to a Conor Gallagher strike, defender Marc Cucurella burst into the United penalty box.

Antony tracked the Spaniard before diving in to try and win the ball - but he brought down Cucurella instead.

The resulting penalty was dispatched by Cole Palmer for his 19th goal of the season, with fans realising Antony had now been involved in more Chelsea goals than United in the Prem.

In that moment, the winger had failed to produce a single goal or assist in the league this season, although he has scored twice in the FA Cup and produced an assist in the competition.

One fan reacted saying: "Atrocious."

Another added: "Worst signing in Premier League history."

A third wrote: "How can you have zero goals in match day 31 playing as winger."
