Darts World Cup winner stuns fans by rocking up to local pub to school amateurs in Nottingham Forest kit
A DARTS star left punters in a Nottingham boozer stunned after he was spotted throwing arrows.
Australian Damon Heta hit the headlines last month when he sent Luke Littler crashing out of the UK Open in a sensational quarter-final battle.
The 36-year-old secured a 10-8 triumph before he suffered defeat to Dimitri Van den Bergh in the semi-finals.
But his greatest moment occurred in 2022 when he and Simon Whitlock overcame Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton to lift the World Cup of Darts.
However, away from performing in front of thousands of spectators, it was a much more intimate audience that felt “The Heat” last night.
Two clips have emerged of the Australian, who now resides in Leominster in Herefordshire, shocking punters on these shores.

And he did it all while wearing a Nottingham Forest football jersey.
The first video shows Heta entering the pub as Darude’s hit Sandstorm blasted out from the jukebox to act as his walk on music.
Punters had their phones in hand to capture the unbelievable scenes, with one fan posting the footage and captioning it with: “He’s walked out to Darude Sandstorm.”
Then, a further clip was also shared online.

That showed Heta throwing arrows amongst a host of other amateurs in what appeared to be a local pub competition.
And that came along with a caption that read: “Why’s Damon Heta playing darts in a forest kit in my local?”
Heta, who has earned over £1million in winnings from his career, later shared two snaps on his own Instagram of him travelling to the event and of him posing with his fellow players afterwards.
Soon the clips started to go viral, and fans did not take long to heap praise on him.
One wrote: “One thing I love about Heta is that he doesn’t think he’s above anything, he will turn up to a local tournament with £50 to the winner and batter every f****r.”
Another commented: “Genuinely don't think Heta was on the list of sportsman I'd expect to be wearing a Forest shirt.
“Might have a new favourite dart player.”
“Some bloke him,” declared another as a fellow fan called it “superb”.
