And on Wednesday a video was released of them having a laugh as they threw darts at a board filled with the faces of 11 football stars from the past and present.

The footage from saw Manchester United fan Aspinall throw first as he picked Ronaldo after a quick chat with fellow Red Devils supporter Littler.

When asked why he went for him over Messi, Aspinall simply replied: “He’s the GOAT.”

Littler then went for Messi but in a hilarious moment ended up missing all THREE of his darts at the Argentine.

Aspinall stepped up to put Messi second on the board, before they selected Brazilian Ronaldo third.

The first English player on their list was Wayne Rooney who comes in fourth ahead of Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe.

Littler and Aspinall considered Paul Scholes next, but Barcelona icon Ronaldinho edged ahead of him because of his World Cup win.

Scholes was placed in seventh, before Manchester City playmaker Kevin de Bruyne, Real Madrid and England man Jude Bellingham and Erling Haaland rounded off the top 10.

And Liverpool legend Mo Salah was left alone on the board as he failed to make the list.

Aspinall even joked: “Can we put Salah number 100?”
