Louise, three, Vivienne, five, and Ivy, seven, were taken to hospital as a precaution following the crash on Monday afternoon on state road 2071 in Schaftlarn.

England ace Kane was not in the car, having landed back in the UK  for his side’s 2-2 Champions League quarter-final first leg against Arsenal on Tuesday.

The youngsters, who striker Kane, 30, shares with wife Katie Goodland, 31, were travelling in a Mercedes Vito when a Renault driver smashed into them.

Police said the Renault was turning into a junction when it crashed into the oncoming Mercedes near Munich, where Kane plays for Bayern Munich.

A local volunteer fire chief said it was "very lucky" no one was seriously injured.

In an update, former Spurs striker Kane reassured his children were "fine".

A spokesman for the star said: "There was a crash, but the kids are fine, and none were injured.

"No injuries at all. They went to hospital for a routine check-up."

Hohenschäftlarn Volunteer Fire Department chief Daniel Buck said the cars "had a lot of damage".

He told the : "The good news was nobody had really strong injuries, more minor injuries, like they have pain in the neck from the head up, normally typical for a car accident.

Pictures show the shocking damage to the black Mercedes, with debris strewn across the road.

Kane's wife Kate and their youngest child Henry, seven months, were not in the car.

The Mercedes was driven by a 24-year-old woman from the district and there were three passengers in the Renault, aged three, 43 and 48.

A Land Rover, driven by a 62-year-old woman, was also caught up in the shocking collision.

Those involved in the smash suffered minor injuries and were transported to hospital via ambulance and helicopters, cops said.

Munich traffic police are now in charge of further investigation.

KANE BACK IN BRITAIN

HARRY Kane returned to his former North London stomping ground on Tuesday night to haunt old foes Arsenal once again.

The ex-Tottenham talisman was back on these shores with Bayern Munich to take on the Gunners in the Champions League quarter-finals.

He helped the German giants to a 2-2 draw with Arsenal, with the two sides set to meet again in Munich next week.

Kane, 30, put Bayern 2-1 up from the penalty spot in the 32nd minute, after Leroy Sane had been fouled by William Saliba in the box.

After the game, the England captain spoke to TNT Sports.

He said: "Having no fans here tonight was tough. Having a full stadium [next week] will push us on.

"We had a big chance to go 3-1 up but Leroy didn’t put it away unfortunately.

"It’s been an amazing experience in Germany personally. To see a different culture and a different league.

"The league is gone this season but I am there for a long time."

Kane and his family moved to Germany in August last year after the striker signed a £104million transfer to Bayern from Tottenham.

He moved his wife Katie and their four kids into a luxury £30million mansion previously owned by ex-Bayern stars Mehmet Scholl and Lucas Hernandez - in an area dubbed the Beverly Hills of Bavaria.

Katie and Harry are childhood sweethearts who have been together since they met in their school days.

Inside Harry and Katie’s life in ‘Germany’s Hollywood’

BEFORE finding their perfect family home, Harry and his clan had been staying in Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski, one of Munich’s most prestigious and exclusive hotels.

The five-star resort is frequented by celebs and footballers, costing an eye-watering £10,000 per night to stay.

Located 7.5 miles (12km) southwest of central Munich, Grünwald is a popular spot for Bayern players as it is only a 15-minute drive from the club's training ground.

Kane is also joining the current Bayern squad living there; Alphonso Davies, Matthijs de Ligt, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Benjamin Pavard and Leroy Sane.

And Katie could also rub shoulders with new group of WAG pals including Anika Bissel, the partner of Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Peter Neuer.

There's also Leroy Sane's wife Candice Brook, a US model, TV personality and singer, and Mathea Fischer, the partner of Leon Goretzka.

The area is known as the “Bavarian Hollywood”, ans is Germany’s wealthiest municipality.

A source previously told MailOnline: “Grünwald is the Bavarian Beverly Hills. It's the home of the rich and famous and offers the very best in luxury mansions.

“I can assure you that the Kane family will be in one of them and will enjoy their new life here.”

The family have a variety of high-end restaurants and eateries in the area.

They include Chang, a Michelin guide-listed Asian restaurant, which offers pick ‘n’ mix style sushi for £100, caviar for £450 and ribeye steak for £40.

Another Bayern star hotspot is H’ugo’s, which specialises in truffle pizza and pasta.

There are also plenty of International schools for the Kanes to choose from for their new little one, including the International Preschool Munich, which has fees of up to £975 per week.
