Andriy Yarmolenko could finally be heading to the Premier League with Tottenham, Everton and Stoke waiting in the wings

ANDRIY YARMOLENKO could finally head to the Premier League in a bargain deal — with a queue forming for the Ukrainian star.

The attacker, 27,  has been chased by Everton, Stoke and Tottenham for years but Dynamo Kiev kept him.

However the word is out that Kiev will now take around £9million for a genuine talent.

And that has got   admirers buzzing  — despite his £100,000-a-week wages.

Ukrainian clubs are notoriously hard to do business with but the hope is that Yarmolenko may head to England soon.

CASPER SAL RIGHT

SALFORD CITY want to bring in highly-rated Manchester United old boy Chris Casper in a general manager role.

Casper is  in a senior post with the Premier League but could be tempted by the project of former Old Trafford pals at Salford.

Gary Neville and Co have ambitions to reach the Football League.


JOSH SCOWEN is ready to quit Barnsley after turning down a new contract.

The Enfield-born wide man, 23, will look for a club down south if the Tykes do not come up with an improved offer.

Spurs chief Daniel Levy had delayed his exit, but the club now realise they need the situation resolved fast.

SWANS ON THE MARC

SWANSEA boss Paul Clement has joined the chase for Barnsley’s giant centre-half Marc Roberts.

The Welsh club watched 6ft 4in  Roberts yesterday and are set to meet the £5million asking price to pair him with old Tykes pal Alfie Mawson.

They signed Mawson last August and have now edged in front of Burnley and West Brom for Roberts, 26.

Both Sean Dyche and Tony Pulis are keen but happy to wait until summer, while Swansea want to move now.

As well as Roberts, the Swans also have the cash to do other deals as they try to beat the drop.

BA BID NOTT DONE DEAL

NOTTINGHAM FOREST are trying to hijack giant defender Abdoul Ba’s move from Lens to Blackburn.

The 6ft 7in centre-back, 22, is poised to sign for Rovers but, while their  owners Venkys dither, Forest have stepped in with an offer.

Kazakhstan club Astana are also keen  but Ba is set on England.

Forest are also after  midfielder Ben Watson, 31, and attacker Jerome  Sinclair, 20, on loan from Watford.


NOTTS COUNTY want to bring centre-half Kelvin Wilson, 31, back to the club as he looks to quit Rotherham and he will go if they can sort a deal.


COGLEY A TARGET

JOSH DACRES-COGLEY is catching the eye  of Premier League scouts — headed by Southampton.

Birmingham’s young right-back has battled his way into Gianfranco Zola’s side after being dogged by injury.

WOLVES are  making a move for Newcastle centre-half Grant Hanley.

The Scotland international  is rarely in Rafa Benitez’s side — despite joining from Blackburn  for £5million in the summer.

ARSENAL will let babes Stephy Mavididi and Krystian Bielik go out on loan. MK Dons want England youth striker Mavididi, 18, while 19-year-old Pole Bielik, 19, could join Blackburn.


LLOYD IS A LOANER

SOUTHAMPTON will let forgotten winger Lloyd Isgrove go out on loan — with Mick McCarthy keen to take him to Ipswich.

Isgrove, 24, has not been in the Saints’ plans despite excelling on loan at Barnsley last term.
