Conor McGregor: UFC star reveals he is having a baby BOY with partner Dee Devlin who is expecting in April
The UFC champion announced the news at a Q&A event at Manchester's Event City last night
CONOR McGregor has revealed he and partner Dee Devlin are expecting a baby boy.
The UFC champion announced the news at a Q&A event at Manchester's Event City last night.
He also revealed for the first time their baby is due in April, meaning it is unlikely we will see him inside the octagon any time soon.
The Notorious said: "The only time my records are going to be broken is by him.
"I’m going to train this child. I hope when it comes down to it I can settle down when I have a child.
"I hope I can man up and be a father."
When asked whether his son will be called Conor McGragor Jr, he simply replied: "f*** off*.
He also told how he turned down a main role in the upcoming The Predator movie because filming would take place around the same time Dee is due to give birth.
The 28-year-old said: "There have been a lot of offers. They wanted me to be the main guy, to fight Predator.
"So I asked how much and the answer was, 'not enough'.
"We talked and the number went up but it would mean eight weeks filming in Toronto. It was also around the time Dee is due."
Meanwhile, McGregor's next fight looks set to be in a boxing ring after Floyd Mayweather said a bout would likely happen last night.
During the Carl Frampton versus Leo Santa Cruz scrap in Las Vegas, 'Money' went on an incredible rant about the Irish legend.
"That’s the only fight that will get me back in the ring.
"He's going to do a job on his side and we are going to do a job on my side and hopefully all the fans in the UK come over and support me.
"I don't know (when it will be), I need to communicate with my team, the fight hasn't been made yet, but it is all about entertainment so hopefully we can make it happen."
