Sutton United’s biggest game in their history against Leeds United has got TV viewers seething

SUTTON UNITED were supposed to give their fans a day to remember when they reached the fourth round of the FA Cup to face Leeds United at home. 

Its arguably the biggest game in their history but fans at home are struggling to watch the game as the rain pelts the camera lens, and there does not appear to be a wipe on hand.

Fans flooded on to social media to vent their frustration at the smeared view on their television screens, fans not able to attend the game thought the comfort of watching the FA Cup match at home would mean they would not be affected by the adverse weather.

It does not appear to be the case, with some fans even asking if the camera man had wiped Vaseline on the lens, the match looks like if you were waiting for your car windscreen to clear, after the heating has been turned up to the max.

You could even be forgiven for thinking it was a trick Specsavers commercial, but unfortunately its not, the quality of the camera work is just that bad.

There doesn't appear to be any sort of a cloth or a cameraman's sleeve to just relieve the tensions in football fan's homes.

One fan that had to check for his specs, unfortunately though he was wearing his glasses, as the rain pelted the camera lens at Gander Green Lane .

One fan made cries of ''shambles'' and he's not far wrong, its a huge occasion for the non-league club in a competition where ties such as these are supposed to be the pinnacle of football tradition in England.

Many a fan, through-out their football supporting lives talk about past FA Cup matches on TV, unfortunately this one is likely to be remembered for the severe lack of vision.

With any luck, it is just rain that's causing the anger amongst the public, we are pretty sure its not Vaseline covering the camera lens, well we hope not.

A supporter even thought the game was being broadcast live on 3D, and he didn't have the special glasses to enjoy the momentous occasion...then he realised, there appears the cameraman is wipe-less.

Lee Dixon, former Arsenal right-back, who enjoyed many occasions playing against Leeds United, must have thought his blurry vision was a flashback to old 'Tuesday club' days with the Gunners.

Does this supporter mean the rain? Because although football fans cant actually see the game, Sutton have given it a right good go against Premier League promotion chasers Leeds United.

Fans will hope that someone might have a word with the BT Sport cameraman so he can give the lens a once over before he pops over to the tea stand for a half-time brew.
