Luke Littler booed by darts fans in Liverpool after cheeky gestures about Jurgen Klopp’s side during walk-on
LUKE LITTLER was subject to loud boos and jeers as Premier League Darts visited Liverpool for Night 13.
The darts sensation was met with derision by Liverpool fans in attendance after poking fun at the Reds in recent weeks.
Fans booed Littler as he appeared on stage ahead of his quarter-final clash against Gerwyn Price.
Littler was expecting the harsh treatment ahead of his contest, saying: "Like my manager said, expect the worst and if it's better than that I'll take the positives."
He then lapped up the jeers during his walkout by making a 'two-nil' gesture with his fingers in reference to Liverpool's defeat to Everton on Wednesday.
Littler also cupped his ears and after reaching the stage he looked out at the crowd and put his hands on his head.

What followed was the biggest boo of the night as Littler took his first shot of the match, before a cheer after one of his darts bounced out and onto the ground.
But he hit back after winning the first leg of the match by winking at the crowd.
And he did not let the toxic atmosphere affect his game as he came out on top, beating Price 6-3.
He then beat pal Nathan Aspinall in a thrilling semi-final, coming back from 5-3 down to win 6-5 before going on to thrash Rob Cross in the final.

The Manchester United fan enjoys winding up opposition players and fans, with Liverpool seemingly his favourite target.
After Jurgen Klopp's side were dumped out of the Europa League by United last month Littler could not resist a little trolling.
He posted a meme online with the caption: “What is the difference between Luke Littler and Jurgen Klopp? Littler has more trebles!”
Littler, 17, then mocked Liverpool following their back-to-back defeats against Atalanta and Crystal Palace.
Fellow pro Michael Smith warned the teen to "calm down" ahead of the night in Liverpool and warned he was in for some stick because of his remarks about Klopp and his team.
He said: “We say the right things to him. We don’t try to guide him off course obviously.
“If he’s doing something wrong, we say ‘listen calm that down’.
“We had a word with him the other week because he keeps winding Liverpool up like Klopp and everything.
“We said you’ve got Liverpool in two weeks, you’ve got to calm that down. We said you are going to get some stick on that stage.
“The only good thing he’s got, is that he’s playing Gerwyn Price. You don’t know whether he’s going to get it or not.

“Either way, one of them is going to get stick. I think Luke might be on the brunt end of it for winding the Liverpool fans up.
“I’m a United fan. I wouldn’t dare to wind them up, especially when you know you are coming here. I have a laugh with my mate but I wouldn’t put it on social media. So he’s going to get some stick for that.”
