World snooker champion, 53, who’s now a professional healer made incredible Kyren Wilson prediction when he was just SIX
PETER EBDON believed Kyren Wilson would become world snooker champion after he met him aged just six years old.
Wilson fulfilled his lifelong ambition of winning at the Crucible on Monday when he defeated Jak Jones 18-14 in the final.
The 32-year-old roared with delight after potting the match-winning ball before bursting into tears of happiness.
But another world champion, Ebdon, has claimed he knew all along Wilson would achieve big things.
The pair met at a pool exhibition around 26 years ago where Ebdon advised Wilson to take up snooker after showing a lot of natural talent.
Ebdon wrote on social media: "Many years ago, I played a 6-year-old boy in a pool exhibition at Weetabix in Northants.
