THIS season's Premier League has officially gone down as the most entertaining in history.
That's after Jarell Quansah scored the 1,223rd goal of the season in the 40th minute of Jurgen Klopp's final game as Liverpool manager.
That means a record has been set for the most ever goals scored in a Premier League campaign.
It overtakes the inaugural Premier League season in 1992-93 for volume of goals and means games this season have averaged 3.27 goals per match.
That record comes despite 22 teams being involved in the Premier League in its first two seasons.
That number was then reduced to the 20 we have today in 1994.
