WAYNE ROONEY has discussed his similarities with son Kai.
Wazza's eldest, 14, plays for Manchester United's academy.
A striker like his dad, Kai is aiming to make it at the Theatre of Dreams.
During a recent appearance on , Kai's progress was brought up by Rooney's old pal Gary Neville.
When Neville suggested that Kai had some similarities with his old man, Rooney, 38, said: "He's got my physique. He'll be taller than me.
"He's a goalscorer. In the box he sniffs chances out and that's his game, he's doing okay."

Neville, 49, then asked if Kai was at a level where he's "got a chance".
Rooney, not wanting to put too much pressure on his eldest boy, replied: "It's too early. I think he's showing potential and good signs.
"He'll be at United for the next two years and then that's when they make decisions on you, so we'll just have to wait and see."
Neville then asked if Rooney is "tough" on his sons, to which he responded: "Not really, no.

"I ask them questions. So after training or games, I'll ask them what they think, and just try to give them a little guidance really.
"Like his goal against City on Tuesday. As a forward you get told to run across the front post, so he kept doing it.
"I said 'you need to be aware of who's in the penalty area. If you're on your own, you need to make the decision whether to go front or back'.
"He was on his own and he pulled to the back post, the ball comes and he scores a header - so just little things like that."
In a clip shared by The Overlap's social media accounts, Kai can be seen finishing impressivelypast a goalkeeper with both feet.
During his chat with Neville Rooney also revealed that his ten-year-old son Klay is at Man Utd.
Kai regularly shares updates from his matches on social media.
In January he proudly revealed that he scored twice while also grabbing a pair of assists in a 6-0 win over Leeds.
The spitting image of dad Wayne, Kai was signed to model for Puma back in 2022, despite his old man having always been a Nike athlete.
Kai wears Puma boots on the pitch, while he featured in their back to school campaign last summer.

Rooney, meanwhile, is set to divide his time between his family home in Cheshire and Devon next season, after landing the job as Plymouth Argyle manager.
He has already been house-hunting in Salcombe, a coastal hotspot around 25 miles east of Plymouth.
