Snooker legend Ronnie O'Sullivan started the tournament as heavy favourite after a summer tour of Asia and Europe - but The Rocket is also OUT having fallen to He Guoqiang in his final group match.

Shaun Murphy was the defending champion after he thrashed Mark Williams in last year's final to claim the title, but he also lost in Stage 2.

SunSport has all the information you need ahead of the first ranking tournament of the season.
