AUSTRIA fans hilariously taunted France supporters by snapping a baguette in front of them ahead of their Euro 2024 clash.
The two countries kick off their campaigns in Germany on Monday evening as they look to make fast starts in Group D.
Ahead of the match, taking place in Dusseldorf, Austria and France fans congregated in a beer garden.
And they engaged in some jovial joking around as an Austrian supporter broke a baguette - synonymous with France - in front of Les Bleus fans.
The video gathered a huge amount of attention on social media hours before the game.
One user replied: "I've never been so politely offended."

While another added: "Man I love football 😂😂."
A third responded: "That’s worse than stepping on the flag 😭."
And a fourth said: "I can confirm that the food war has officially begun 🤣."
The gesture comes 48 hours after Albanian fans snapped spaghetti in front of a crowd of Italians ahead of their group-stage clash.

Italy ended up winning 2-1 despite conceding in just 23 seconds.
Austria are overwhelming underdogs against World Cup runners-up France - who are seen as favourites to win the tournament alongside England.
Also in their group are Poland and the Netherlands, the latter winning 2-1 in their match on Sunday.
