LIV Golf star Tyrrell Hatton showed a golf commentator was full of hot air after launching one of his trademark tirades... at the wind.

The Brit won his first title on the controversial tour in Nashville at the weekend.

But the hot-head Brit did not have everything his own way - blaming the WIND for after missing a pair of putts.

Hatton, 32, is often vocal in his self-criticism and has been prone to lose his cool on course, with his meltdown at The Masters attracting plenty of attention.

Finding himself at the top of the leaderboard, Hatton had managed to maintain his composure after missing a putt on one hole, leading to praise from commentator David Feherty.

And, as Hatton lined up another makeable effort on the next, Feherty praised his "calm" to viewers.

However he was soon made to regret his words... as the putt came up short and Hatton launched foul-mouthed tirade, within clear earshot of cameras.

The 2023 Ryder Cup winner ranted: "Disgusting, disgusting. F*** you wind. F***ing shambles.

"Two in a row has absolutely f***ed me."

Hatton recovered birdied three of his last five holes to finish on 19 under after 54 holes and beat compatriot Sam Horsfield by six shots.

It is his first title since the Abu Dhabi Championship in January 2021 and he picks up £3.2million in prize money.

Hatton said after his victory: "It was nice to play the last few holes and it not be super tight.

"I guess having not won for three-and-a-half years, you wonder if you'd be able to do it again in some way. So I was happy I proved that to myself."
