Fans hail ‘legendary’ Neymar as Brazil icon performs incredible gesture to street vendors
Fans didn't recognise the star at first
ONE street vendor in the United States was left gobsmacked at Neymar’s incredible gesture last night.
The Al-Hilal star stopped to surprise a man flogging shirts on the street corner before Brazil’s Copa America opener in California.
Neymar was out in Los Angeles to support his Brazil teammates despite missing out on a place in the squad due to injury.
And a video circulating online shows the superstar stopping at a traffic light to purchase two Brazil shirts while heading to the SoFi Stadium.
Neymar leans out of the car window and beckons over the man selling the shirts by saying: “We want the Brazilian shirt, please!”.
The vendor, seemingly oblivious to who he is talking to, then jogged over to the car and handed Neymar the shirt.
