Premier League cult hero, 37, with one of best goals-per-minute ratios trains with non-league side in hunt for 12th club

ADAM LE FONDRE is training with non-league FC United of Manchester as he hunts a new club.
The 37-year-old is looking for the 12th team of his career after leaving Hibernian at the end of June.
Le Fondre departed Easter Road at the end of his contract just a season after signing.
The veteran striker scored five goals in 19 league appearances as Hibs finished eighth in the Scottish Premiership.
Following his exit, Le Fondre has now revealed he is training with Northern Premier League outfit FC United.
The non-league side are preparing for their sixth consecutive season in the seventh tier.
Le Fondre posted on X: “Another tough session in the bank.”
His post prompted a fan to ask: “I’m guessing you had plenty of clubs. Who did you sign for?”
The Englishman responded by explaining: “I’m training with my mate @FCUnitedMcr at the minute until I get sorted.”
Le Fondre has played for 11 different clubs since starting his professional career with Stockport in 2004.

In the 20 years since, he has spent just one season in the Premier League, scoring 12 goals in 19 appearances for Reading in 2012/13.
Those goals, which included strikes against Chelsea and Manchester United, came in just 1,494 minutes of top-flight action.

As a result, Le Fondre has a ratio of 124.5 minutes-per-goal in the Premier League.
His record is one of the best for the number of minutes played, with Sergio Aguero just ahead of him on 107.98 minutes-per-goal.
The Manchester City legend’s 184 league goals came in 19,869 minutes.
Meanwhile, Erling Haaland has scored 63 times in 5,335 minutes for City at a rate of one every 84.68 minutes.
Away from the Royals, Le Fondre has also enjoyed permanent spells with Rochdale, Rotherham, Cardiff and Bolton in the EFL.
The last six years have even seen him play for clubs in Australia and India since his last stint in England.
