Manchester United are in pole position to sign Dan Ndoye, the Switzerland star's agent has revealed.
Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag is keen on the Bologna winger, who has shone at Euro 2024.
Old Trafford chiefs have begun talks with the Serie A club, who want £21million for Ndoye.
The versatile 23-year-old has played at centre-forward, on the right wing and in central midfield for Switzerland.
He scored against hosts Germany and played 98 minutes as the Swiss took England to penalties in Saturday's quarter-final - setting up Breel Embolo's opener in the 1-1 draw.
Nyon-born Ndoye previously played for Lausanne Sports and Nice, with both clubs part of United joint owner Ineos' empire.

Ndoye's advisor Fahd Adamson said: "It is good that Manchester United are interested in Dan, and it is somehow logical as well.
"United belong to Ineos, and Dan has already played for the other Ineos-owned clubs in Nice and Lausanne.
"He received countless WhatsApp messages from English clubs after the quarter-final against England.
"Let's see what emerges from them.

"We must discuss Dan's future with him and his family. We need to weigh things up well, to prevent him making the wrong career move."
Ndoye made 38 Bologna appearances last season, scoring three goals and setting up five more to help the fifth-placed Serie A side bag a Champions League place.
They paid FC Basel just £7m for him last summer. He is under contract until 2027, with the option of a further year.
