Serbian sparked similar rumours last month when she was snapped at the gynaecologist

MANCHESTER UNITED midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger was a true gent after taking stunning wife Ana Ivanovic out for lunch in Hale.

The German international walked round to the passenger side of his Range Rover just to open the door for the retired tennis star.

And there may be a very valid reason why Schweini was doting on his wife.

The 29-year-old looked glowing as she was clutching her stomach with a big grin on her face.

Just last month she caused a wide spread of rumours that she was pregnant after a picture surfaced of her visiting the gynaecologist.

The snap uploaded to Instagram by Serbian doctor N.Zecevic, was soon deleted after speculation continued to mount.

Ivanovic, who won the French Open in 2008, quit tennis at the end of last year after admitting that she 'couldn't live up to my high standards anymore.'

And she may not be the only one to call time on her playing days with Schweinsteiger also reaching the end of his career.

The 32-year-old hasn't featured in the league under boss Jose Mourinho this season and is almost certain to leave the club this summer.
