EUROS viewers were loving the BBC's entry for song of the Euros.

Discussing England's heroic shootout victory over the Netherlands, Alan Shearer said: "Pressure, what pressure? Pressure is for tyres."

And the BBC decided to play a mashup song from YouTube remixer Dave Wol ahead of tonight's heartbreaking 2-1 defeat to Spain.

The clip saw Shearer's comments turned into a dance song as clips of the BBC's Euros coverage play in the background.

And fans were loving what they heard.

One commented: "Pressure is for Tyres, song of the summer."

Another added: "Officially starting the ‘get “Pressure Is For Tyres (MOtD Remix)” to number #1 next Sunday’ campaign."

A third suggested: "Pressure is for tyres needs to be competing with the Gillette advert for UK Number One for the next six months. The pair of them on repeat if England win tonight."

"England have the better songs. Three Lions, Hey Jude, Vindaloo, Pressure Is For Tyres," a fourth ventured.

Earlier in coverage, Gary Lineker joked a case of "child cruelty" might be England's best hope of stopping wonderkid Lamine Yamal.

Much has been made on how to stop the in-form right winger - and Rio Ferdinand joked good old-fashioned rough-housing needs to be in play.
