But West Ham are keen to give him another chance in the Prem after he impressed for France at Euro 2024.

And according to the Hammers are in talks to sign Kante, who could cost around £20million.

West Ham are understood to be keen on signing a defensive midfielder after opting against making Kalvin Phillips‘ loan move permanent.

Manager Julen Lopetegui is said to be a long-term admirer of Kante, 33.
