Fans all switch over from BBC Sport for Paris Olympics coverage after realising who’s hosting Eurosport’s coverage
Eurosport's presenter appeared for the first time since big news
FANS all switched over from the BBC to Eurosport for coverage of the Olympics opening ceremony.
That is because Laura Woods was on presenting duties for the broadcaster.
She was joined by fellow presenter Craig Doyle in a studio overlooking the city.
Woods, 37, wore a long black dress which lured fans over from the BBC where host Clare Balding was joined by Michael Johnson, Rebecca Adlington and Chris Hoy.
Woods is set to spend the next couple of weeks in Paris fronting Eurosport’s coverage of the Games.
And she will do so while pregnant after last week announcing she and boyfriend Adam Collard revealed they are expecting.
The couple went public in October and have since shared several loved up photos on social media.
They have largely kept their relationship out of the public eye, which for notorious ladies’ man Adam, 28, seems to suggest he has turned a corner in his romantic life.
Laura’s charm seemed to rub off on Adam almost instantly, as he also suggested he felt he might have found “The One”.
By Christmas, Laura’s parents had also given the seal of approval for their relationship as he spent the holidays with her, joking that “luckily they don’t read many papers”.

Yet even before that, Laura and Adam enjoyed a romantic getaway to Amsterdam, Holland, which saw them checking out a rude restaurant, enjoying a trip down the city canal’s and relaxing in a spa.
Adam claims to have had 25 girlfriends in the past, yet the “influence of stability” – as relationship expert Jo Hemmings puts it – Laura gives off has been the cornerstone of their blossoming romance.
