However, it has been confirmed that she dislocated her shoulder on Sunday before flying to France.

Brown, 16, is now being looked after by Team GB's medical team.

It is still hoped that she will be able to compete in the women's Park skateboarding on August 6 and go for gold.

She was just 13 years old when she competed at the Tokyo Games.

This saw her become the youngest-ever athlete to represent Team GB.

She broke the 93-year record that was held by Margery Hinton in 1928 in doing so.

Brown is desperate to be able to represent Team GB in Paris and shared her excitement on social media just five days ago.

She shared a selection of pictures since 2021 to show her journey to this year's event.

Brown captioned the post: "What a journey, I’m thankful for every moment along the way, everything and everyone and all the memories.

"Now for the fun part… LET GO PARIS 2024!!!!"

A fourth said: "These athletes are monsters.
