Aston Villa star Lucas Digne’s contract with next club ‘leaked’ in bizarre social media spat
ASTON VILLA star Lucas Digne became embroiled in a social media spat after denying reports he agreed a transfer.
The left-back could be allowed to leave this summer following Villa's £37million signing of Ian Maatsen.
He has attracted interest from Galatasaray who are keen to sign Digne on loan for the season.
Journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu reported the news on social media alongside the claim Digne had already agreed personal terms, which Digne denied.
The reporter then shared a photo of a document highlighting Galatasaray's submission of a loan offer - but the contract showed no evidence of Digne agreeing terms.
In fact, Digne has rejected the offer of a loan move to the Turkish giants as he is keen to stay and fight for his place at Villa Park.
