SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY have found a new way of announcing a signing which has split opinion.
It had some on social media saying it was "The most awkward new signing announcement you'll see".
The announcement saw Danny Rohl apparently taking a pre-match press conference ahead of Wednesday's Championship season opener against Plymouth.
But the manager was then interrupted by a knock at the door, which turned out to be new forward Ike Ugbo.
Ugbo spent the second half of last season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday from French side Troyes.
While on loan at the Owls, he scored seven goals in 25 appearances.

He spent the first half of last season on loan at Cardiff, but was recalled by Troyes and re-sent on loan to Wednesday to gain more first-team opportunities.
He has now signed permanently for Wednesday for an undisclosed fee.
The announcement saw Rohl's acting abilities pushed to the limits, with the manager pretending to be shocked and saying: "Hey, how are you?" to Ugbo.
