But that has not prevented him from enjoying a 20-year career in the media, working for organisations such as the BBC and Eurosport.

It is the BBC that Stevenson has been reporting for in France and he has been present for the boxing finals at Roland Garros in recent days.

Vile trolls have mocked him for his disability during the Olympics, but he hit back with the perfect response on social media.

Speaking on on Friday, he shared a photo of him at the boxing in Paris and said: "The people amused/shocked/appalled that the BBC would hire a boxing reporter with no arms are going to fall off their sofas when they hear I also do golf, tennis, snooker etc.
