Canadians Melissa Humana-Paredes and Brandie Wilkerson started exchanging some heavy words across the net with Brazilians Ana Patricia Ramos and Duda Lisboa.

The referee tried to calm the two pairs down but his efforts proved to be futile as tensions continued to flare.

That is when the DJ decided to step in with the power of music.

And John Lennon’s legendary Imagine song started echoing around the arena.

The scrap immediately came to an end and fans started singing the lyrics to the classic peace anthem.

Even the two pairs immediately exchanged their frowny faces with big smiles.

The athletes applauded the DJ before their match was restarted in France.

Fans were left in awe by that incredible peacemaking moment and stormed social media.
